iConga V2

iConga™ V2 has just been released and is available on our support page.

This major release now includes our VIPER email tool. This tool provides tracking of all inbound/outbound email/texting traffic via iConga™.

VIPER alleviates the requirement for System i configuration of –

Ø     Directory entries (INTERNET SMTPRTE)

Ø     SMTPA (AutoAdd for incoming email)

Ø     Distribution Queues QSMTPQ

Ø     SMTP server to be active

Ø     QSNADS to be active (for incoming email)

Ø     MSF (Mail Server Framework) to be active

Other enhancements include-

Specific Job/Subsystem monitoring

Ø     Monitor for a job to have started/completed at/by a specific time

Ø     Monitor for a specific Subsystem to be up by a certain time

Auto-reply capability

 Ø     Generic Message group reply values (e.g. BRM*)

 Special reply value KEEP to skip further notifications
